Day 1

Your driver and guide meet you at the airport or railway station upon your arrival.

Day 2

08:00 Your guide and driver pick you up from your hotel (approx. 40-minute drive).

08:50 Arrive at the scenic area. Enter with your guide and take the park shuttle (20 min) past Ten-Mile Gallery and Water-Winding Four Gates to the lower station of the Bailong Elevator. Ride the “World’s No.1 Elevator”: an 88-second vertical ascent rising out of the valley to the mountain top. This weightless sensation is more unforgettable than any roller-coaster ride.

09:30 Explore Yuanjiajie Scenic Area (2 hours). Dozens of viewpoints are scattered across this zone, including Mihu Platform with panoramic views, and Qiankun Pillar — the real-world inspiration for Avatar’s Hallelujah Mountains. Conclude at the No.1 Bridge Under Heaven. On rainy days you will see sea-of-cloud vistas; on clear days endless mountain ridges stretch to the horizon. Every season reveals its unique beauty. Yuanjiajie served as the real-world blueprint for Avatar’s Hallelujah Mountains, allowing you to step into that magical landscape. After rain, post-storm mists drape layered peaks for spectacular views.

12:00 Visit Yangjiajie Scenic Area (1 hour), home to the globally one-of-a-kind “Peak-Wall Great Wall”. Key highlights: Natural Great Wall and Peak-Wall Wonder. Return by shuttle bus to proceed onward. (One-hour lunch break; your guide can recommend local dining options.)

14:00 Tour Tianzi Mountain Scenic Area (1.5 hours). Millions of years ago this region lay beneath an ancient ocean. Complex geological movements formed strangely shaped rock formations such as Imperial Brush Peak, Fairy Presenting Flowers, Commander Platform and West Sea Forest of Peaks. Rather than seeking man-like shapes in the rocks, simply appreciate the raw, unspoiled beauty of nature. Afterwards take the park shuttle to the upper station of the Tianzi Mountain Cableway for the 8-minute golden cabin cable car descent.

16:00 At the cableway lower station, board the park shuttle (25 min) for Water-Winding Four Gates and hike the Golden Whip Stream, often called the world’s most beautiful canyon (1.5 hours). Catch the return shuttle (11 min) back to the East Gate.

18:00 Tour concludes; transfer to your hotel in Wulingyuan or the city centre.

Day 3

08:30 Your driver and guide pick you up from your hotel.

08:50–14:50 Sightseeing at Tianmen Mountain (Route A/B/C subject to pre-booked ticket routes). Take the Tianmen Mountain Cableway uphill. Attractions include Ghost Valley Plank Road, Lingxiao Platform / High Sky Corridor, Tianmen Mountain Temple, Cloud Dream Summit, Coiled-Dragon Glass Walkway and Tianmen Cave. Descend via escalators or cableway.

15:30 Your driver and guide transfer you back to your hotel for rest.

18:30 Hotel pick-up for an evening visit to 72 Wonder Tower.

21:30 End of day; transfer to your hotel, airport or railway station.
